For all B.Tech , annual Career Development Center fee  and book fees have to be paid as per the following details:

• Book fees payable annually is Rs. 15,000/-. The fees must be paid by DD (in favor of “THE BOOKS & EQUIPMENT STORE”) payable at Chennai.
• Career Development Center fees for Value Addition courses is Rs. 20,000/- The fees must be paid annually by DD in favor of “SRM AXIS INTELLECTS (I) PVT LTD.” payable at Chennai.
• For B.Arch, Book fees payable annually is Rs. 25,000/-. The fees must be paid by DD (in favor of “THE BOOKS & EQUIPMENT STORE”), Payable at Chennai.

 Applicable to all campuses:

Non refundable "Registration and processing fee" of Rs.10000/- for all programs

Examination Fee will be additional based on the number of subjects registered for exam

 

SRMJEEE2016 Application Form

The SRMJEEEapplication procedure has ended now. The last date to submit and make corrections in the application form is 15 March 2016. The step-by-step process to fill the form was as below.

Register Online – To do so, candidates need to submit Name, Date of Birth, Nationality, Email Address, Mobile Number and Verification Code. If all the information is submitted correctly, candidates will receive a Password, sent by SRM University. 

Login – Next step is to log in, to fill the application form. To log in, candidates will have to submit registered email address and the provided password. 

For Filling – After successful login, candidates will be able to fill the required educational, personal and communication details in the application form. On submitting all the details, candidates will be allocated an application number. It is advised that candidates secure it safely, as it will be required in various stages during admission. 

Payment – After filling the information, candidates will have to pay the application fee. The fee amount is Rs. 960 and candidates can pay it via Demand Draft, Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card. Those who will pay the fee via Demand Daft, are required to drawn it in favour of ‘SRM University’ payable at CHENNAI.

Upload Photo and Signature – The last step is to upload the photograph and the signature. 

• Photograph should be passport size and colored with 10 kb-300 kb (Dimension – 3.5cm X 4.5 cm) in jpg/jpeg format.
• Signature of the candidate must be in dimension 10 kb-300 kb (Dimension – 6cm (width) X 2 cm height) in jpg/jpeg format.

Note: Candidates who will submit the application fee online are not required to send the filled in application to the University. However, candidates who will pay the fee via DD must submit the confirmation page and a receipt of DD to the University. Also, do mention your name and application number at the back side of DD.

The application forms are also available offline. The offline SRMJEEE2016 application form will only be available in authorized Post Offices. The address to submit the offline application form is as below:

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam and filling the application form, candidates must read the eligibility criteria to know if he/she is eligible for the admission  SRMJEEEeligibility criteria will circumference the areas like the age, education and nationality. Candidates must meet these criteria, else the admission will not be granted.

Following are the clauses of SRMJEEE2016 eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must be born on or after 1 July 1994.
• Only candidates who have studied in Regular/Full-Time/Formal Education institutes are eligible.
• It is necessary to complete class XII or any equivalent examination from a state or central recognized education board OR Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board OR HSC examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma or Advanced (A) level General Certificate Education (GCE) examination.
• He/she must have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Math or Biology (50% for SC/ST and candidates from Jammu Kashmir and Northeastern states candidates).
• Now, candidates who have passed the qualified examination from NIOS are also eligible to write SRMJEEE

SRMJEEE2016 Slot Booking 

To write the SRMJEEE registered candidates will have to book a slot. The slots can only be booked by registered candidates, from 18 to 20 March 2016. The slot for SRMJEEE2016 has been disclosed by the University. In all, there will be three session/slots and candidates will have to book one. The slots for SRMJEEE2016 will be as below:

• From 9:00 am to 11:30 am
• From 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
• From 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm

The booking will be done on the first-cum-first basis. To login the SRMJEEE2016 slot booking portal, candidates will have to submit the Application Number and Password. The slot booking password has already been e-mailed to the students. Candidates will have to book a slot within the real time, else the slot will not be booked. Also, after confirming the booking, the test city, time and date cannot be changed. 

Also, the admit card of SRMJEEE2016 will only be issued after doing SRMJEEEslot booking. Registered candidates who will not book a slot, will not be able to download the admit card. The dates for slot booking and issuance of SRMJEEEadmit card will be released soon.

SRMJEEE 16 Exam Centers

To do the SRMJEEE booking 2016, candidates will first have to select a Test City. Without selecting the city, candidates will not be able to see the available slots and dates. It is advised that before booking the slots, candidates check the SRMJEEE 016 exam centers and in advance select the centers where candidates would like to write the exam. SRMJEEE-Admit Card

As we have already mentioned, the admit card of SRMJEEE2016 will be issued after candidates have booked a slot. Hence, the issuance of it will be done between 18 to 20 March 2016. The admit card will be issued within 24 hours after the booking and candidates will be able to download it from the official website.

Note: If, after the booking the admit card is not generated then the candidates should inform SRM UNIVERSITY.

The data in the table shows that SRMJEEE Main cutoff score in 2016 for Common Merit List (CML) this year has been reduced as compared to 2015, whereas it has seen an increasing numbers of applicants compared to the year 2014.

 In 2014, SRMJEEE applicants appeared was approximately one lac thirty thousand 130000 again it increased by twenty thousand in year 2015 and this year it raised by thirty five thousand and reached to 185000 applicant appeared in SRMJEEE.  when analysed, the trends of Engineering aspirants get decreased comparing previously by 50000 in JEE. it

 SRMJEEE cutoff was declared based on shortlisted candidates upto 70000 and called for counselling. and expectation 

 will be the same as 2015 fresher admissions. 2015 and 2016, but has witnessed a drop of  marks in 2015 when compared to 2014 candidates, SRMJEEE  shot up by a few marks this year. 

Reasons for JEE Main Selection

The reason for the increase in SRMJEEE is the only Placement Factors as well Academic Faculties and facilities provided to students as per world class education environment. 
 SRMJEEE  this year increasing number of qualified aspirants for appearing in JEE Advanced. Till 2015, top 1, 50, 000 candidates from JEE Main would qualify for JEE Advanced, but the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) had decided to increase this number by 50, 000 earlier this year, thereby making it 2, 00, 000 for 2016. 
Another reason for this drop in JEE Main cutoff could be the fall in JEE Main registrations in 2016. In 2016, as many as 185390  had applied for this national level engineering entrance examination, while this number was 150000 in last  year.
